30284 Admitting Clerk Bonita (30284) - Bonita Springs
To provide support to administrative office staff assuring a smooth departmental work flow. Responsible for performing daily tasks such as greeting visitors, answering phone and routing incoming calls, filing, copying, data entry, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal or typewriter. Relieves office staff of clerical work, and minor administrative and business detail.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the administrative office.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills encompassing strong oral and written communication techniques.
Ability to multi-task. Demonstrated skills in customer service, and the collection of patient demographic information. Ten-key skills and ability to type 35 wpm.

Minimum one (1) year relevant experience in the business office setting or related field required.
Experience in healthcare field, or combination of work experience and education in medical terminology and medical office procedures preferred.

Externships may be applied as work experience.
Previous experience in computer-based patient management system preferred.
